Hard Pivot
Designed to allow contact of the maxillary 1st molars. There is a 10mm square step (pivot) built to contact the mesio-palatal cusps maxillary first molars. All other teeth are 1.5-2mm out of Occlusion. It’s purpose is to increase joint space, decompress the jaw joint and help increase mandibular range of motion.
